Arnette Travis is an extraordinary woman and respected community leader in Redondo Beach, CA. She wears many hats—as a wife, mother, grandmother, and cancer survivor, she exemplifies resilience and dedication.
Â
Like many women, Arnette has journeyed through different life chapters. She started as a legal assistant, moved into a successful career as a stockbroker, and has become a dedicated volunteer for several organizations, including the League of Women Voters and the Beach Cities Health District’s Blue Zones Project. Arnette is also a proud alumna of the Leadership Redondo program.
Â
Arnette’s impact goes far beyond her personal achievements. She is a mentor, passionate advocate, activist, author, and sought-after speaker on finding and living with purpose, well-being and retirement. She frequently speaks for groups like Retired LA City Employees, offering valuable insights on life after work.
Â
In addition to her many roles, Arnette is the creator of the HAPPY program. For her, happiness isn’t a fleeting emotion—it’s a state of being achieved through purposeful and meaningful daily actions. She will discuss the details of her HAPPY program on Your Best Life on Wednesday, November 20, at 2 PM. Tune in to HealthyLife.net to hear her inspiring approach to finding lasting happiness.
Â
On a personal note, Arnette is a dear friend. For over 10 years, we’ve walked together every Monday morning on the Esplanade, sharing life’s ups and downs. Her wisdom and encouragement have been a constant source of inspiration in my own work.
